Terms and conditions
The rental of an apartment is final only after written confirmation and receipt of a deposit of 25% of the total amount mentioned on the contract. The deposit must be paid into our account within the payment period indicated on the contract. Receipt of the deposit is confirmed by e-mail. By paying the deposit, the tenant confirms having read and accepted the general rental conditions as they are mentioned on www.midivacance.ch. The balance must be paid into our account no later than one month before the start of the rental. Receipt of payment of the balance will be confirmed by e-mail.
The apartments can be occupied at most by the number of people indicated for each apartment. Any exemption requires the consent of the owner of the property.
The confirmed rate includes the provision of your fully furnished apartment for the agreed rental period. The price includes water, electricity, gas, bed, kitchen and table linens, cleaning charges, tourist taxes and Internet (Internet with limited data volume. If you need more data, e.g. streaming, we recommend setting up your own hotspot).
Start of rental and departure
The apartment is presented to you as already cleaned. During the rental period, the cleaning upkeep of the apartment is the responsibility of the tenant. Upon departure, the apartment must be left clean and tidy. Arrival on the confirmed date from 4 p.m., departure on the confirmed day before 10 a.m.
The landlord rejects all responsibility in the event of theft in the house, in the car park or on the entire grounds of Clos Méjean. For your protection, car park doors must always be locked. In accordance with the French civil code (art.1730-1733), the tenant is responsible for the damage he causes to the rented property and to the other tenants. The tenant is required to take out corresponding insurance, if he does not already have one.
If the tenant cannot start the rental as agreed, the cancellation must be communicated to us in writing, by registered letter or, exceptionally, by e-mail.
In the low season, the deposit paid is lost if the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the start of the rental. The difference in payments made will be refunded.
In the high season, cancellation is free up to 45 days before the start of the rental. In this case, the payments made are fully refunded. In case of cancellation between 45 and 15 days before the start of the rental, 50% of the total amount of the rental is lost. The difference with the payments already made is refunded. In the event of cancellation less than 15 days before the start of the rental, 100% of the total amount of the rental is retained.
Vacations interrupted prematurely are not reimbursed. We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
COVID pandemic coverage
If an entry ban is decreed by the French authorities due to a pandemic, the cancellation is free of charge. Payments made will be fully refunded.
According to French law. Swimming pools must be protected by a fence or an alarm. Children and people who cannot swim should never be left alone at the edge of or in the swimming pool. The barrier/alarm does not replace the obligation of surveillance and any responsibility is declined. Dogs are not tolerated in the swimming pool.
